Aldi Gillingham reopens after mouse infestation

MouseALDI’S Gillingham branch has reopened today, after a mouse infestation forced the store to close late last week.

Medway Council environmental health officers swooped on the Duncan Road shop on Friday.

The store was then issued with a full closure notice after officers discovered a widespread mouse infestation in the bakery aisle.

The issue was deemed to pose a significant risk of contamination of food and a risk to public safety.
