Edmonton pizza shop owner given suspended prison sentence

Mr Javadpour was given an eight week sentence to be suspended for one year, the shop owners company was also fines £2000 and £2543.44 costs with the addition of a £120 victim surcharge.

Mr Kamran Javadpour the owner of the pizzaria called Apple Pizza in Upton Road, Edmonton, London. N18 admitted to the court he had failed in his duties and admitted 14 breaches of the food safety and hygiene regulations.

Food inspectors found an ongoing mouse infestation with mouse droppings littering the storage areas, preparation areas and throughout the premises.

Mr Javadpour called in a local pest controller to manage the mouse infestation and during the closure, the premises was also deep cleaned.
