fox controlPLYMOUTH – A fox bit a Bridgewater man at a pond in South Plymouth Thursday morning.

The man was visiting friends at the beach at Big Sandy Pond when the fox bit him in the right leg.

Residents said the fox had been roaming about the neighbourhood for the last few days.

Capt. John Rogers said officers and the town’s animal control officer tried, but were unable to locate the fox after the incident. Rogers advised residents to contact police if they see the animal again.
