Rats reported in shopping centre at Ingleby Barwick in Stockton
Rats around shopping centres isn’t an uncommon occurrence. Usually it’s caused by lazy members of the public dropping litter onto the floor instead of using bins provided.
A rat infestation at a shopping centre has hit the local press. Beckfield Shops have had ongoing problems with rats in the past.
The social media group Thornaby News has reported the rat problem to be “worse than ever”.
The landowner is cutting back overgrown shrubs and bushes around the shops to deter rats and stop them harbouring.
