Three residents from Southwick in Sunderland have spoken out about the rat problems they are having.
Three Trinity Street residents have spoken out about the rat problems they are seeing in Southwick, Sunderland.
One resident told how the rats were running along his heating pipes and leaving droppings in the voids. Another Southwick resident told how the rats were running riot under his floor during the night.
The residents think the rats are being displaced by the work to create a new Wear crossing and the amount of waste that is being left around the estate.
