two restaurants fined due to rodent droppings

A Chinese restaurant and an Indian restaurant in Portsmouth were both taken to court by the local council because of hygiene and pest control related matters.
Mr. Kahn of Aubergine restaurant admitted that his premises were lacking in hygiene and was fined £4200 + £1481 in costs.
Ann Goh of Family House restaurant was also fined £3500 + £1394 in costs for similar offences.

Both restaurants brought pest controllers in after the authorities were involved.
